Excelling in a nearly four-decade-long career within real estate management, Ronald W. Stubing entered the industry right after graduating from high school. For the past 36 years, he has been a resident manager at the 200 East 90th Street Owners Corp., in which he oversees daily business operations, security, renovations and local revenue, maintains the cleanliness of the area and ensures that the property remains a comfortable place for residents to live. Prior to his current position, Mr. Stubing worked in four other Manhattan luxury high rises as a doorman and in maintenance.

Finding success throughout his tenure, Mr. Stubing has been honored as Building Manager of the Year by the Manhattan Resident Managers Club. He attributes his success to personality and humor. His friend told him, “You can lose your job, you can lose your spouse, you can lose your money, but do not lose your sense of humor because once you lose your sense of humor, you are a goner.” He notes this has always been his mindset, to maintain his humor no matter what, as well as life-long friendships.

To remain abreast of his field, Mr. Stubing has held life membership with the Manhattan Resident Manager Club since the 1980s. Outside of his primary work, he devotes himself to the New York Lawn Bowling Club is committed to various charitable organizations, as he has made plentiful donations on behalf of disabled veterans. Now in his mid-60s, Mr. Stubing looks forward to completing the final years of his career and settling into a well-deserved retirement.
